Access to the course is restricted: the number of available places is defined annually on the basis of the estimated need by the health authorities and FNOPO (National Federation of the Orders of the Profession of Midwifery).

In the academic year 2023-2024, the number of available places was No. 28.

For the academic year 2024/2025, 25 places have been requested from the Ministry, including 1 reserved for foreign students

The syllabus of the entrance exam is set annually by MIUR - Ministry of Education, University and Research. The admission test includes questions on logic, biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics and general culture.
