Course presentation
The University Master in Aesthetic Medicine is aimed at Medical Doctors with an interest in Aesthetic Medicine. Its objective is to train medical personnel who are expert and competent in facial and body aesthetic medicine, as well as in gynecological aesthetic medicine. The faculty comprises both University Professors and external instructors, featuring renowned experts in the field.
Educational goals
Participation in lectures, completion of internships, and passing assessments will enable the achievement of the following educational objectives:
- Ability to organize and manage an aesthetic medicine clinic in accordance with current regulations.
- Skills in assessing skin imperfections of the face, body, vulvovaginal area, and functional sequelae.
- Practical skills in performing various topical/injection/regenerative procedures in facial, body, and vulvovaginal aesthetic medicine.
- Management of complications in aesthetic medicine for the face, body, and complications arising from childbirth, radiotherapy, hormone therapy, and prior surgery in the vulvovaginal area.

Prerequisites for admission
Eligible candidates must hold one of the following degrees conferred according to D.M. 270/04 and D.M. 509/99:
- Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (Class LM-41, Class 46/S).
- Additionally, those with degrees obtained under the previous regulations (prior to D.M. 509/99) in Medicine and Surgery may also apply. Registration with the Medical Association is required.
Admission procedures
Evaluation of qualifications. Possession of a related specialty will be a preferential criterion.
